I bought my first pair in 1981 whilst touring USA. I wore them almost every day during summer. They finally gave up the ghost in about 2004. My daughter then sent me a pair in 2006 which I used until 2020. Unfortunately I cannot afford to buy another pair as I am now a pensioner.
