The casual BIRKENSTOCK sneaker Bend impresses with its simplicity and can be combined in many ways. An additional midsole made of PU and cork provides the best shock absorption. Breathable microfiber material guarantees optimum moisture absorption. This variant stands out due to a special material: a so-called Flesh Out leather. The inside of the nubuck leather is given a velvety soft feel through complex processing methods and then becomes the upper material of the shoe.

Materials

UPPER MATERIAL: NUBUCK LEATHER
Nubuck leather is created by gently sanding the grain side. It feels velvety soft and develops a beautiful patina over time.

INSOLE: LEATHER INSOLE
The skin-friendly, flexible leather insole nestles gently against the foot and adapts to its contour. The open-pored and therefore particularly breathable surface enables a pleasant foot climate even during vigorous physical activity.

FOOTBED MATERIAL: CORK
Cork is a sustainable material extracted from the bark layer of the cork oak. This natural product is insulating and offers very good cushioning.

OUTSOLE: RUBBER
Because of its high elasticity, rubber is particularly suitable for outsoles. It is elastic and therefore supports the natural rolling movement of the foot. In addition, rubber is very robust and has good damping properties.
