The BIRKENSTOCK models Zermatt and Andermatt are models with a removable footbed. You can thus choose between three insoles. You can choose between the standard footbed, the soft footbed and the shearling footbed. All three can be ordered individually. Ideal for the whole year!

The standard footbed is our popular classic, which is based on the natural footprint of a foot in the sand and is a comfortable companion throughout the day.

This is how it works: The replacement footbed should lie flat on the insole of the shoe and be flush with the shoe in the heel area. If necessary, existing replacement footbeds must be removed from the shoe.

UPPER MATERIAL: SUEDESuede is a split leather with a napped finish. It has a velvety surface and is very soft to the touch.
