Birko-Flor is made of easy-to-care-for and hygienic PVC, which has been lined on the inside with a soft, breathable layer of fleece. This high-quality material is very gentle on the skin, and it's comfortable while also being very durable.
The flexible leather lining, which is gentle on the skin, nestles up softly against your foot and adjusts to its contour. The open-pored and thus very breathable surface makes for a comfortable foot climate, even during more strenuous physical activity.
FOOTBED MATERIAL: CORK
Cork is a sustainable material extracted from the bark layer of the cork oak. This natural product is insulating and offers very good cushioning.
EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate) is a high-quality, very light, elastic material with extremely good cushioning. As a result, it smooths out slight irregularities in the floor and ensures that every step is softly cushioned.
Never received my shoes, nobody bothers to follow up. I am the one following up regarding the delivery of my shoes. On the 6 December I received an email to say my sandals is on its way. From 13 December I got worried as I still never received it. The agent said that it is festive period and I will receive it as there is a waybill created. Nobody bothered to follow up. Two days ago I called again, agent said "oh the warehouse is out of stock and they don't know when they will get in again". I said okay now can't you give me anything else. She said let me speak to my manager. Manager said unfortunately we also processed your refund. I was so shocked. I said okay is there any thing else they could do, agent went back to Manager, the manager said, we can offer you 20% off your next order. How lame is that?. Up and till today nobody discussed the time frame of my refund. I am disgusted at the level of accountability and how Birkenstock treats their customers!!!!!!!

The shoe looks amazing. However, I only received one shoe instead of a pair. After contacting customer service, I got an email to say my return request has been received and the parcel will be collected. I have been waiting for weeks for the shoes to be collected and receive a call from a correspondent to see if the order could be replaced

Delivery method and duration
Please allow up to 24 hours for the processing of your order once payment has reflected prior to shipping. Please allow 3-5 business days for delivery once your order has been dispatched.
Delivery is free of charge anywhere in South Africa for orders over R1000. All orders under R1000 will incur a delivery fee of R75.00. Delivery charges may be subject to change if you are staying in an outlined area.
Invoice and delivery address
You can specify an address other than the invoice address for delivery of your order. You may also allow someone other than yourself to accept your order on your behalf. we offer door-to-door service, so anyone available at the address listed on your order can sign for it, e.g. staff, security or reception etc.
