The BIRKENSTOCK Zermatt is our first slipper with a removable footbed, allowing you to choose between three different insoles. You can choose from the Standard Footbed, the Soft Footbed and the Shearling Footbed. All three insoles can be ordered separately. Perfect for all year round! This basic version of this design features our Shearling Footbed. It comes with a snug shearling lining to keep your feet cozy when the temperatures drop. The upper is made from soft wool felt.

UPPER MATERIAL: WOOL FELT
Wool felt counts among the oldest textile materials in the world and is the typical upper material for slippers.

INSOLE: SHEARLING
Shearling is high-quality, soft sheep- or lambskin. The material is warm, breathable and has temperature-regulating properties.

OUTSOLE: EVA
EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate) is a high-quality, very light, elastic material with very good cushioning. As a result, it smooths out slight irregularities in the floor and ensures that every step is softly cushioned.

Delivery method and duration

Delivery Costs

Delivery is free of charge anywhere in South Africa for orders over R1000. All orders under R1000 will incur a delivery fee of R75.00. Delivery charges may be subject to change if you are staying in an outlined area.


Invoice and delivery address

You can specify an address other than the invoice address for delivery of your order. You may also allow someone other than yourself to accept your order on your behalf. we offer door-to-door service, so anyone available at the address listed on your order can sign for it, e.g. staff, security or reception etc.
